Kathy Kuras

Kathy Kuras has had an extensive career in the nonprofit sector, particularly in various leadership roles at YMCA organizations. Kathy is currently serving as the President and CEO of the Greater Austin YMCA, where they focus on addressing critical community issues and strengthening Central Texas communities. Prior to this, Kathy held positions such as Chief Operations Officer and EVP Strategy & Innovation at the YMCA of Greater Boston, where they managed association operations and set performance goals. Kathy also worked as a Senior Director of Organizational Change Management and Director of Career Development at the YMCA of the USA, leading transformational organizational change and designing national leadership models. Kathy also co-founded Vanguard Muse, an independent music and film company with a mission to ignite social progress through creative experiences. Kathy has a background in program strategy and management, as well as experience in the United States Marine Corps. Overall, Kathy brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, innovation, and community impact to their work.

Kathy Kuras obtained a Bachelor's degree in Music with a minor in Sociology from Loyola University New Orleans from 1985 to 1990. Kathy then pursued a Master's degree in Organizational Management and Leadership from Springfield College, from 2004 to 2006. Kathy also holds additional certifications in Leadership Architect from Korn Ferry, Net Promoter from Satmetrix, and Six Sigma from Bank of America.
