Kristen Pierce Vreeke

Kristen Pierce Vreeke has extensive experience in the mental health field, with a particular focus on providing accessible and high-quality services to children and families. Kristen has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including as an Associate Vice President at the Greater Austin YMCA, where they provided strategic direction and leadership for Whole Person Health initiatives. Kristen also served as the Executive Director of the Austin Child Guidance Center, where they oversaw a multi-disciplinary team of mental health practitioners and worked to empower children and families to thrive. Additionally, Kristen has experience in counseling services through their work at Catholic Charities and as a clinician at IPC Integrative Psychotherapy & Consulting Services. Kristen has also been involved in community organizations, serving as a board member for CTAMFT and coordinating a grant project at Fairfield University. Overall, Kristen's work experience demonstrates their expertise in mental health counseling, program management, and leadership positions.

Kristen Pierce Vreeke holds a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University, which they completed from 2004 to 2007. Kristen also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Hampton University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, Vreeke holds a certification as a Clinical Fellow from the American Association for Marriage & Therapy Inc, which they obtained in September 2009.
