David Schuetz

David Schuetz is the VP of Capital Projects Management at YMCA of Central Maryland. David has over 17 years of experience in real estate development and has been with YMCA for over 8 years.

Prior to joining YMCA, David was the Regional Vice President of Development for Erickson Retirement Communities where they were responsible for all facets of real estate acquisition and development for the company. During their time with Erickson, David successfully negotiated challenging land acquisition contracts for properties in Northern California, Minnesota, Missouri and Kansas.

David has a proven track record of success in real estate development and has played a key role in the successful development of numerous projects valued at over $2.2 billion. David is a highly skilled negotiator and has a deep understanding of the entitlement process, making him an invaluable asset to any organization.

David Schuetz has a Masters in Construction Management from Texas A&M University and a BBA in Economics/Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University.
