Debra Barrett

Debra Barrett is an experienced leader in early childhood education, serving as the Senior Executive Director for Head Start at The Y in Central Maryland since September 2018. Barrett has held various positions within the organization, including Sr. Director of Y Head Start Operations and Regional Director for the Baltimore County Head Start/Early Head Start program. Prior roles include Deputy Director and Program Coordinator of Education Services. Barrett holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Growth and Development with a concentration in Psychology and Early Childhood Education from Sojourner-Douglass College.
