Derrek Cole

Derrek Cole, M.Ed., serves as the Executive Director of Youth Development at The Y in Central Maryland since August 2021, overseeing youth programs and school partnerships in Baltimore City. Previous experience includes the role of Associate Executive Director focusing on similar responsibilities and supporting community school initiatives. Derrek's background features positions such as Community School/OST Specialist at Family League of Baltimore, Program Manager at BellXcel, and OST Coordinator at Humanim, complemented by athletic coaching roles. Derrek holds a Master's in Education with a focus on Athletic Leadership from Goucher College and is pursuing a Post-Master’s Certification in Administration & Supervision from Loyola University Maryland.
