Vanessa Martell

Vanessa Martell is an experienced executive leader in the YMCA network, currently serving as Executive Director at the YMCA of Central New York since March 2023. Previously, Vanessa held several leadership roles at the YMCA of Greater Rochester from July 2011 to March 2023, including Executive Director, Associate Executive Director, and Program Director. Additionally, Vanessa worked as a Senior Project Manager at Causewave Community Partners from August 2020 to August 2021 and served as Program Director at Corning Community YMCA prior to that. Vanessa began their career in 2005 as a Family Programmer/Hikemaster at the YMCA of the Rockies. Vanessa holds a Master's degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from SUNY Brockport and a Certificate in Ministry from Calvary Chapel School of Ministry.
