Nekita Nesmith

Nekita Nesmith is the Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at YMCA of Florida's First Coast. Nekita has over fifteen years of experience in development and fundraising, most recently serving as the Director of Development for the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Delaware from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they were the Director of Development at the University of Florida from 2004 to 2011. Nekita has a proven track record in raising money for educational institutions and nonprofits and is passionate about giving back to their community.

Nekita Nesmith has a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from East Carolina University and is certified from The American College of Financial Services as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy.

They are on a team with John Lyon - VP of Operations, Tom Campbell - VP of Healthy Living & Operations, and Jon Dearolf - VP of Operations. Nekita Nesmith reports to Eric K. Mann, President & CEO.
