Maria Coakley has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in event management and fitness instruction. Currently serving as Events Manager at Halloran Consulting Group, Inc. and as a Group Fitness Instructor at YMCA of Greater Boston since June 2018, Maria is adept in organizing events and leading various fitness classes, including Zumba and HIIT. Previously, Maria held roles at Fidelity Investments as Executive Assistant to both the Head of Technology Risk, Strategy and Analytics, and the Chief Auditor from January 2013 to June 2018. Additional roles include State Scheduling Director in the Office of U.S. Senator Scott Brown and Communications Director for State Senator Scott P. Brown. Maria commenced the career as a Co-Op Public Relations Assistant at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr and as a Co-Op Procurement Technician at Military Sealift Logistics Command. Maria earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Northeastern University and has an educational foundation from Massachusetts Bay Community College and West Roxbury High School.
