YMCA of Greater Hartford
Kimberly Cole has an extensive work history in the YMCA organization, starting in 2005 at EXOS|MediFit as an Assistant Program Manager/Health Fitness Specialist. Kimberly then transitioned to the YMCA of Metuchen Edison Woodbridge and South Amboy in 2006, where they held roles such as Wellness Director and Associate Executive Director until 2014. From 2014 to 2021, they served as the Executive Director at Greater Somerset County YMCA. In 2022, they joined the YMCA of Greater Hartford, first as the Vice President of Operations and later as the Chief Operating Officer. Throughout their career, Kimberly has demonstrated leadership in various operational and executive roles within the YMCA organization.
Kimberly Cole holds a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology and Sport Science from Ithaca College and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, YMCA Organizational Leader, and has served as a board member for the YMCA Professional Network Chapter 17.
