Lauren Rome

Lauren Rome is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President of Financial Operations at the YMCA of Greater Houston since April 2018. Previously, Lauren held several roles within the same organization, including Controller, Director of Accounting, and Assistant Controller. Prior to joining the YMCA, Lauren accumulated valuable experience as a Senior Auditor at Mann Weitz & Associates and at Blazek & Vetterling, LLP, where positions included Senior Auditor, Staff Auditor II, and Staff Auditor I. Lauren Rome earned both a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University between 2005 and 2010.
