Rebecca Block

Rebecca Block is an experienced professional with a strong background in fundraising, communications, and public relations. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Annual Giving & Digital Engagement at the YMCA of Greater New York since June 2017, Rebecca has previously held roles such as Digital Fundraising Manager and Director of Fund Development and Communications in Brooklyn. Prior experience includes working as an Attorney Development Coordinator at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and serving as Production Associate of Digital Communications at the Greater New York Hospital Association. Early career roles include public relations internships at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western New York and The Fresh Air Fund, along with a resident assistant position at Hofstra University. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Hofstra University, with earlier education at Our Lady of Mercy High School.
