Angela Shire

Angela Shire has extensive experience in compliance and regulatory affairs, currently serving as Vice President of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs at MedAmerica Insurance Company since February 2010, where responsibilities include managing compliance with state and federal regulations. Additionally, Angela has been a Group Exercise Instructor at YMCA of Greater Rochester since 2009, promoting fitness among members through engaging group classes. Previously, Angela held the position of Chief Compliance Officer at The OMNI Group from June 2008 to February 2010, overseeing compliance services for clients across the nation, and served as a Compliance Officer at MedAmerica Insurance Company from January 1997 to June 2008, ensuring adherence to various regulations. Angela earned a Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law (1990-1993) and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Niagara University (1986-1990).
