Joshua Sandoval

Joshua Sandoval serves as the Branch Executive Director and Operations Director of The Schertz Family YMCA at the YMCA of Greater San Antonio since August 2021. Sandoval is also the Owner Operator of South Texas Alternative Health & Fitness, a role held since February 2021. Previous experience includes serving as the Sr. Wellness Director at the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA and the Health and Wellness Coordinator at the YMCA of Greater San Antonio. Additionally, Sandoval led as the Head OCR Coach at Alamo 180 and worked as a Personal Trainer at the YMCA of Greater San Antonio. Earlier career experience includes serving in the US Navy as Master At Arms/Command Fitness Leader and in various roles at Omni Hotels. Joshua Sandoval holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Texas A&M University-San Antonio and has additional education from Northwest Vista College and the American Public University System.
