Sophie Shugarts

Sophie Shugarts serves as the Branch Admin Coordinator and Membership Experience Representative Lead at the YMCA of Greater Seattle since August 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant for the Psychology 372 course at Washington State University from January to May 2021, and multiple leadership positions within Alpha Kappa Psi, including Pledge Educator and Professional Chairman from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, Sophie worked as a Barista at Starbucks from September 2015 to August 2017. Educational achievements include a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, complemented by an additional major in English: Professional Writing and Rhetoric, both obtained from Washington State University.
