John Schlansker has over 20 years of experience in various roles at the YMCA. John started working at the YMCA of Greenville in 1998 and held positions such as Membership/Marketing Director, Senior Program Director, Associate Executive Director, and Executive Director. In 2008, they joined the YMCA of Middle Tennessee as the District Executive Director and later transitioned to the Corporate Membership Department. John returned to the YMCA of Greenville in 2011, where they served as a Project Manager, Associate Executive Director, Director of Risk Management, and eventually became the Director of Facilities Development and Risk Management.

From 1992 to 1996, John Schlansker attended Indiana University Bloomington. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree at the Kelley School of Business, specializing in Marketing and Management with a double major.
