Matt Oba

Matt Oba has extensive experience in aquatic safety and management, currently serving as a full-time lifeguard at the City and County of Honolulu since May 2011 and as a lifeguard at the YMCA of Honolulu since May 2012. In addition to lifeguarding, Matt Oba has held various roles within the YMCA, including swim instructor and positions related to aquatics program administration. Since March 2015, Matt Oba has been the CEO of Matthew Oba Enterprises, focusing on network marketing. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management and Business Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, completed in 2017.
