Leigh C. Turner possesses extensive experience in education, currently serving as an English Second Language Teacher and Gifted Education Teacher/Case Manager at Collierville Schools since July 2015. Responsibilities include designing self-paced training programs for gifted students and developing Individualized Education Plans for over 200 diverse students. Previous roles include teaching ELA and Social Studies, and establishing an award-winning art program at Desoto County Schools. Additionally, Leigh has been a Yoga Instructor at YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South since January 2022 and was a Small Business Owner at Prop Wash USA, LLC from 2003 to 2018. A former Senior Instructor and Curriculum Developer for Northwest Airlines, Leigh has extensive curriculum design experience. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University.
