Director Of Early Learning Program For Preschoolers at YMCA of Metro North

Kelly Curtis has extensive experience in the field of early childhood education. Kelly started their career as a Preschool Teacher at the YMCA of Greater Boston in August 2011. Kelly then worked at Saint Josephs School as a First Grade Teacher Assistant from February 2013 to July 2014, where they were responsible for various teaching and administrative tasks. Kelly then joined the YMCA of Metro North as an Assistant Preschool Director in July 2014, where they managed a half-day preschool classroom and assisted with state licensing requirements. In September 2015, they became the Director of Early Learning Program for Preschoolers at the Torigian YMCA. Under their leadership, the program expanded from a licensed space for 30 children to 50 children in August 2016. Overall, Kelly has demonstrated strong leadership and teaching abilities throughout their work experiences.

Kelly Curtis earned an Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from North Shore Community College in 2012. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science in Child, Family and Community Studies, specializing in Early Education Administration, at Merrimack College from 2012 to 2014.
