Claudia Rivers is a skilled professional with extensive experience in recruitment and human resources. Currently serving as a Recruiting Coordinator, Sr. / Background Investigator for the City of Atlanta since October 2021, Claudia supports various recruiting functions, including conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment testing. As the Director of Talent and Human Resources Director for a Chick-fil-A franchise, Claudia focuses on processing applications, hosting interviews, and developing training plans for new team members. Additionally, Claudia has served as a Wellness Coach II at the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta, engaging and assisting members with health and wellness initiatives. Previous roles include Research Assistant at Texas Tech University and several positions at the YMCA, which highlight a strong foundation in public health and wellness. Claudia holds a Master of Science in Health and Human Performance with a focus on Health Promotion from Georgia College & State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Public Health from Texas Tech University.
