Michael Baker

Michael Baker currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga since May 2025. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Accounting Supervisor at EPB from September 2018 to May 2025 and worked as Accounting Manager at U.S. Xpress, Inc. from September 2014 to September 2018. Michael's experience also includes military service with the U.S. Army as a SIGINT Collection/Analysis professional from March 2008 to March 2014, and an earlier role as an Accountant at TennCare from May 2007 to March 2008, where responsibilities included managing federal grant receivables and state property inventory. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from American Military University (2015-2018) and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Lee University (2003-2006).
