Elizabeth Bennett is an experienced leader in financial development with a strong background in non-profit organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Financial Development at the YMCA of Metuchen Edison Woodbridge and South Amboy since September 2021, Elizabeth focuses on advancing the YMCA's mission through various fundraising initiatives. Previous roles include Board Member and Conference on Philanthropy Chair for AFP-NJ, CASA Advocate for CASA of Union County, and Director of Development at Clara Maass Medical Center, where Elizabeth managed foundation staff and donor relations. Additionally, Elizabeth held the position of Director of Special Events at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, generating support through innovative fundraising events, and served as Senior Director of Event Planning and Public Relations at Evergreen Partners, leading successful fundraising strategies for national and local non-profits. Elizabeth's educational background includes a BA in Urban Studies from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
