Alicia Sanchez

Alicia Sanchez serves as the Vice President of Operational Strategy at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, a role held since September 2013, where responsibilities include securing and managing $6 million in annual grant funding, facilitating program development, and fostering partnerships to align with the organization's strategic goals. Alicia has also worked as a Grant Writer, successfully securing up to 70 grants annually for numerous facilities and programs. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Community Research and Action from Vanderbilt University, a Master of Social Work from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Religion from Emory University, complemented by a minor in Community Building and Social Change. Prior experience includes positions at Emory University's Office of University-Community Partnerships and A Shared Initiative, Inc.
