Taylar Proctor

Taylar Proctor has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Taylar currently serves as the Director of Marketing Services at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, where they supervise the Communications Specialist and collaborates with stakeholders to oversee marketing projects. Prior to this, Taylar worked as the Director of Member Communications at the same organization, focusing on membership-focused marketing initiatives and content creation. Taylar also worked as a Communications Specialist at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, where they handled email marketing campaigns and communication with center leadership. Additionally, Taylar founded Carter & Lou Studio LLC, specializing in web design, branding, and marketing consulting. Taylar also held the role of Marketing & Communications Director at the YMCA of Metropolitan Columbus, where they managed social media channels and collaborated with creative agencies for campaigns and website redesign. Taylar's earlier experience includes working as a Wellness Coach at the YMCA of Metropolitan Columbus and as a Travel Coordinator at Soles4Souls, Inc., where they led international service trips and collaborated with the marketing team. Taylar began their career as a Marketing Coordinator at Safeworks Illinois Occupational Health Services, where they focused on promoting the company through storytelling, digital marketing, and event planning.

Taylar Proctor obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Global Studies from North Central College from 2007 to 2011. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Marketing, Digital & Social Media at The University of Alabama from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Advanced Google Analytics, Google Analytics Individual Qualification, Speed Spanish II, and Speed Spanish.
