Carolyn Cook-Lenna is the current Director at YMCA of Rye. Carolyn has previously worked as the Global Head Executive Succession & Development-GTS for IBM from April 2019 to August 2021. In this role, they led a global team of 12 HR professionals supporting Global Technology Services, $28bn division in IBM with 120,000 employees, in 115 countries and 700 executives globally. Carolyn has also partnered with senior leadership on executive succession planning, leadership development and coaching, executive talent reviews and advised on executive leadership appointments leading a team across 4 geographies. Furthermore, they directly supported the SVP of GTS and Global Head of HR for GTS on selection decisions for senior executive leadership appointments, building diverse slates, strengthening organizational capability and developing critical pipelines. Lastly, Carolyn led talent transformation and organizational design for GTS in 2020 focused on streamlining the business and aligning the right executive leadership talent for the future. The team launched the first executive assessment cycle globally in GTS, leveraging personality, motivation and behavioral assessments to drive data driven decision support in building our executive pipelines and selection decisions for senior roles across the organization.
