Margaret Shipman

Margaret Shipman has worked in the financial industry for over thirty years. Margaret started their career as an equities analyst at Argus Research and then moved to Bankers Trust where they worked in Latin American Merchant Banking. In 1997, they joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette as Vice President of Credit Risk and covered emerging markets clients and hedge funds. In 2003, they joined Credit Suisse as Director of Credit Risk Management and led a team responsible for reviewing and rating all credit units worldwide. Shipman has been with the YMCA of Rye since 2010, where they currently serve as Director.

Margaret Shipman has a Masters in Development Economics and International Development from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Georgetown University.
