Tara Montenaro

Tara M. Montenaro serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the YMCA of South Florida, where responsibilities include overseeing operations and strategic initiatives across multiple branches and childcare locations, while supporting Human Resources and community partnerships. Tara has held various leadership roles within the organization, including Executive Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Operations, focusing on strategic planning, financial goals, and program development. Prior to joining the YMCA, Tara worked at The Learning Experience as Regional Director and Area Manager, significantly enhancing franchise operations and compliance. Earlier experience includes serving as Center Director at KinderCare, managing all aspects of center operations. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management and Supervision from Palm Beach State College.
