Jeremy Norton

Jeremy Norton has extensive work experience in the field of underwriting and management. Jeremy started their career at Envisionet as a Manager of Training in 1999 and worked there until 2002. Jeremy then joined First Merchants Bancard as a Merchant Support in 2002. In 2004, they moved to PowerPay where they worked as an Underwriter until 2009. After that, they worked at Web International English Co., Ltd. as a Teacher of English Foreign Language from 2009 to 2010. Jeremy rejoined PowerPay as an Underwriter in 2010 and worked there until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Team Leader of Underwriting at EVO Payments, Inc. Jeremy then grew within the company, taking on roles such as Supervisor of Underwriting from 2013 to 2015, Manager of Underwriting from 2015 to 2017, and finally, as the Director of Underwriting from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are working as the Membership & Wellness Director at YMCA of Southern Maine since January 2020.

Jeremy Norton obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication, General from the University of Southern Maine between 2001 and 2003. In terms of additional certifications, they became a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) in August 2019 and obtained certifications in Senior Fitness Specialization (SFS), Golf Fitness Specialization (GFS), and Corrective Exercise Specialization (CES) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 2019. Jeremy also obtained certifications in Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED from the American Red Cross in May 2023. Jeremy Norton is also pursuing a Certified Nutrition Coach certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), with an expected completion in 2023.
