Sandy Smart is an experienced professional currently serving as a SCORE Mentor at SCORE.org and an Athletics Assistant with the City of Gainesville, Florida, both positions held since November 2023 and March 2023, respectively. Additionally, Sandy has been a Site Sports Coordinator at the YMCA of Southwest Florida since July 2022. With extensive experience in the technology sector, Sandy worked at Cisco as a Software Development Manager from April 1996 to March 2019, overseeing product release planning, delivery of software solutions, and managing Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) processes. Prior to Cisco, Sandy held a similar role as Software Development Manager at Memorex Telex from 1979 to 1996, focusing on IBM 3270 communication controller products. Sandy holds a BA in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
