Heather Polley

Heather Polley has worked in the field since 1985. Heather began their career at Schmitt Photo, where they served as Vice President. In 2014, they joined the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana, where they held two positions: Senior Aquatics Director and Director of Special Events. As Director of Special Events, they were responsible for Race Director for the Evansville Half Marathon, Spirit, Mind, Body Triathlon, coordinating volunteers for YMCA events, securing permits, supplies, and sponsorships for 10+ events annually, recruiting and training event volunteers, promoting events utilizing local and digital media, compiling and analyzing data on event participants, developing and implementing budgets for events.

Heather Polley attended Purdue University from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree and an Elementary Education degree. In 2021, they obtained a Lifeguard Instructor certification from the American Red Cross.
