Sharna Braucks

Sharna Braucks is the current President & CEO at YMCA of Superior California. Sharna has extensive experience in leadership positions at various YMCAs. Sharna was previously the Chief Operations Officer at Greater Green Bay YMCA from September 2017 to April 2019. In this role, they were responsible for leading all operations and ensuring unified delivery of strategic priorities, as well as proactive staff leadership development and teambuilding. Sharna also communicated and implemented an organizational strategic plan internally and externally. Sharna supervised four branches, two camps and four product lines, in addition to $14.1 million in revenue, multiple program sites and over 800 employees.

From April 2012 to September 2017, they were the Multi Branch Executive Director at YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities. In this role, they were responsible for managing two full facilities, in addition to opening a new branch that is 55,000 square feet. Sharna had a total budget responsibility of $12 million dollars.

Before their role as a Multi Branch Executive Director, they were the Child Care Product Manager at YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION YMCA OF THE GREATER TWIN CITIES from January 2008 to April 2012.

More recently, they were the Special Projects Lead at YMCA of the Chippewa Valley from April 2019 to October 2019.

Sharna Braucks has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications & Management from Augsburg University and an AA Degree in Social Services from Century College.
