Michelle Sorenson

Michelle Sorenson is an experienced human resources professional with a diverse background in various HR roles since 1993. Currently serving as a Human Resources Generalist at the YMCA of the Fox Cities since April 2006, Michelle has specialized in benefits administration, employee relations, training and development, and compliance with laws. Previously, Michelle held positions such as Human Resources Director, overseeing HR functions for an association with over 1,800 staff members, and HR Benefits Administrator, managing benefit orientations and FMLA administration. Prior experience includes roles at Badger Plug Company, Interim Health Care, and Angeli's Foods, focusing on payroll processing, recruiting, and employee development. Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and an Associate's degree in Marketing from N.W.T.C.
