Trevor McAlmont

Trevor McAlmont, MBA, currently serves as President and CEO of the YMCA of the National Capital Region since December 2023. Previously, Trevor held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Macaulay Centres for Children from April 2019 to December 2023. Prior to that, Trevor was the Director of Advocacy & Community Development at the Office of the Provincial Advocate for Children and Youth from 2016 to 2019, focusing on advocacy for youth in care. In the County of Simcoe, Trevor served as Program Supervisor in Community Development from 2012 to 2016, overseeing initiatives related to poverty reduction and social policy. Trevor's earlier experience includes managing clinical and early intervention programs at the Child Development Institute from 2008 to 2012. Trevor's educational background includes an MBA from Laurentian University, an MEd from Niagara University, and a B.A. in Psychology from York University.
