Brent Saxton

Brent Saxton is an experienced Wilderness Program Director at the YMCA of the North, with a robust background in leading wilderness expeditions for youth, including solo-led trips in remote settings. Prior roles include Wilderness Trip Leader and Outdoor Learning Staff at the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities, where Brent managed trip logistics and facilitated skill development for participants. Brent has a strong foundation in environmental education and customer service, having worked in various sales roles in the outdoor sports industry, including positions as a Sales Associate at Hi Tempo Snow Sports and Water Sports, and Big Sky Resort. Brent holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from St. Olaf College and has international experience in sustainable tourism from studies at the University of South-Eastern Norway.
