YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region
Dean Halvorson currently serves as the Executive Director of the Armed Forces YMCA at the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Dean worked as an Inbound Sales Representative at California Casualty from October 2021 to June 2023, and previously served as the Healthy Living Director at the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region from November 2016 to November 2021. Dean's earlier experience includes a tenure as Sales Manager and General Manager at Gold's Gym, where responsibilities included hiring, training, and managing personal trainers as well as overseeing gym operations and budget management from November 2011 to July 2016. Dean holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Huron University, earned between 1997 and 2000.
