Dr. Barbara Gossett

Dr. Barbara Gossett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and wellness. Currently serving as a yoga instructor online at 1st Class Yoga since March 2024 and as a yoga instructor at the YMCA of the Suncoast since November 2014, Dr. Gossett specializes in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Iyengar Level 1 yoga. Additionally, as a chair yoga instructor at Vitality Assisted Living Evergreen Woods since November 2015, Dr. Gossett caters to seniors aged 70-100. With a background as CEO of Silver Consulting Services and previously of Silver Energy Solutions, Dr. Gossett has also held significant academic leadership roles, including Dean for Graduate Student Affairs at Stevens Institute of Technology and Assistant Dean for Graduate Student Life at New York University. Dr. Gossett holds a PhD in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a Master's in Education from Southern Illinois University, and a Bachelor's in Administration from Northern Illinois University.
