Amy Davidson

Association Director Of Group Wellness at YMCA of the Triangle

Amy Davidson has a diverse work experience in the field of wellness and fitness. Amy started their career as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2013. After that, they owned and operated the Davidson Basketball Academy from 2010 to 2014, providing basketball skill development training and conditioning workouts. Amy then worked at YMCA of Western North Carolina as the Sports and Youth Development Director from 2014 to 2015, and later became the District Healthy Living Director from 2015 to 2017. Amy then joined YMCA of Greater Charlotte as the Association Director of Fitness Experience from 2017 to 2022. Currently, Amy is the Association Director of Group Wellness at YMCA of the Triangle, a position they have held since 2022.

Amy Davidson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Anderson University (SC) from 2000 to 2004. Amy then went on to complete a Master of Science (MS) degree in Kinesiology at The University of Texas at El Paso from 2010 to 2013.
