Courtney Smith

Courtney Smith, CPA, CA, possesses extensive experience in finance and resource management, currently serving as the Leader of Resource Management & Performance and VP and Leader of Financial Resources at the YMCA of Three Rivers since October 2020. Previously, Courtney held the role of VP and Leader of Y Financial Resources at the YMCAs of Cambridge & Kitchener-Waterloo and served as Senior Manager of Finance and Facilities at Family and Children's Services of the Waterloo Region. Earlier in the career, Courtney was the Director of Finance at Renison University College, where responsibilities included financial reporting and budget development. Additional experience includes the position of Senior Accountant at KPMG, managing client engagement teams, and Staff Accountant at MacGillivray. Courtney holds a BA in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University, along with designations as a Chartered Professional Accountant from CPA Canada and Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
