Ashley Tee's work experience includes the following roles and responsibilities:
- Executive Director of Community Health at YMCA of Western North Carolina since 2022.
- Project Coordinator at Global Youth Mobilization from 2021 to 2022. Responsible for creating and overseeing the Local Solutions Microgrant funding program.
- Membership Director at YMCA of Western North Carolina from 2015 to 2020. Managed staff and daily operations of the Member Service Desk, oversaw drop-in child care facility, and contributed to membership growth.
- Teacher at Francine Delaney New School from 2014 to 2016.
- Membership Manager at Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont from 2010 to 2014. Recruited and retained members, formed new troops, and managed and trained volunteers.
Ashley Tee has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Western Carolina University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Facilities Management from the same institution. Ashley also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Education from Montreat College. In addition, they have obtained a certification as a Team Leader from the YMCA of the USA (National Resource Office) in 2019.
