Nicole Schultz's work experience includes various roles in different organizations. Nicole, started their career as a Legislative Aide to Texas State Representative David Swinford from January 1992 to August 1995. From October 1995 to January 2000, they worked as a Legislative Assistant to Rep Mac Thornberry in the U.S. House of Representatives, where they were responsible for briefing and preparing the Congressman on various issues.

In 2011, Nicole worked as a Certified Personal Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness until September 2013. Nicole, then joined Goldseal Publishing as a Health Book Review Writer from December 2013 to April 2014.

During 2014, they worked as a Wellness Strategist at Brinson Benefits, Inc.

Nicole's next position was with the YMCA of Western North Carolina, where they held multiple roles including Group Exercise Instructor from February 2017 to January 2018, Executive Assistant and Board Liaison from January 2018 to January 2022, Director Talent Acquisition from January 2022 to May 2023, and currently as HR Director of Operations since June 2023.

Nicole Schultz obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Nicole, also attended Alamo Heights High School, although the exact dates are not provided. In addition to their academic education, Nicole has obtained several certifications in various fields such as human resources, exercise, nutrition, and sports training. Some of these certifications include Certified Professional from the Society for Human Resource Management (obtained in 2023), Group Exercise from the American Council on Exercise (obtained in 2017), and Nutrition Certification from Precision Nutrition (obtained in 2013), among others.
