Jenny Real

Jenny Real has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Jenny started their career in 2007 as an Instructional Assistant for Chula Vista Elementary School District. From there, they worked as a Youth Leader II and Assistant Site Supervisor for the YMCA of San Diego County. Jenny then progressed to become a Site Supervisor, where they demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and staff training. Jenny later took on the role of Program Coordinator, overseeing district-wide ASES programs and contributing to fundraising initiatives. Jenny eventually became a Program Director, where they successfully developed and launched new Intersession programs and managed a $3 million budget. Currently, they are the Regional Director of Expanded Learning Programs for YMCA, responsible for managing four funding sources and ensuring compliance with regulations. In addition to their work with YMCA, Jenny also worked as a Parking Attendant for Sunset Parking Service from 2011 to 2012.

Jenny Real has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Recreation and Tourism Management from San Diego State University. Jenny also has a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration, with a focus on Systems Management, from San Diego State University-California State University.
