Walter Gaceta

Walter Gaceta is an experienced professional in member experience and nonprofit leadership, currently serving as the Association Director of Member Experience at the YMCA of San Diego County since May 2024. Previously, Walter held similar roles at the YMCA of Central New York from October 2021 to March 2024, which included the position of Associate Executive Director. Walter also worked as the CYO & Center Director at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York from November 2015 to October 2021 and briefly served as the Executive Director at the Tioga County Boys & Girls Club in late 2020. Walter's career began as a co-owner and trainer at S.C.O.R.E. Training LLC from August 2007 to June 2015 and included a tenure as an R&D Engineer at Datascope Corporation from May 1997 to October 2001. Walter's educational background includes studies at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Cornell University.
