Tim McDonald

Tim McDonald has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tim is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at YMCA WA, where they are responsible for creating and driving a collective strategy and direction for the organization. Prior to this, Tim worked as an Education Lead at Knowledge Society, where they co-led a school improvement strategy in collaboration with system leaders in Canberra Goulburn Catholic Education. Tim also served as the CEO of GenerationOne at Minderoo Foundation, where they worked towards ending the disparity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians through employment, welfare, and education. Tim has also held the position of Executive Director at the Catholic Education Office of Western Australia, where they provided strategic leadership to the Catholic Education system in the region. Additionally, they have worked as an Associate Professor at Edith Cowan University.
