Peter Sweeney

Peter Sweeney is the current CEO at YMCA-YWCA of Guelph. Peter has held this position since October 2020. Prior to that, they were the CEO at YMCAs of Cambridge & Kitchener-Waterloo from September 2016 to October 2020.

Sweeney has over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Peter was the President at St. Joseph's Health System - International Outreach Program from September 2010 to August 2016. Peter was also the President at St. Mary's General Hospital Foundation from March 2001 to August 2016. In addition, they were the Manager of Communications at Skills Canada - Ontario from March 2000 to March 2001.
