Katy Shears

Katy Shears is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in project and program management across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Programme Manager - Expansion at Yoco since June 2019, Katy previously held roles as Software Development Manager and Senior Project Manager at Cobi Interactive from May 2014 to June 2019. Earlier career positions include Senior Project Manager at Media24 (2010-2013) and IT Team Manager/Senior Project Manager at Old Mutual (1999-2009), where responsibilities involved leading compliance projects. Initial career experience involved remuneration consultancy at Norwich Life from 1997 to 1999. Katy holds a degree from the University of Cape Town and has obtained the Certified Scrum Master designation from Scrum Alliance.
