Marcello Schermer

Marcello Schermer is currently the Head of International Expansion at Yoco. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director Seedstars World, part of the Seedstars Group, overseeing their activities in over 70 countries. Schermer has also worked as a freelance consultant for various SMEs, focusing on market research, competitive benchmarking, pricing and advertising strategies, online business models and innovation strategies. Marcello has also worked as an Innovation Strategy Consultant and Research Analyst for Detecon Inc. USA and Arthur D. Little respectively. Schermer's experience in working with startups and small businesses comes from their time as President of JADE Austria.

Marcello Schermer has a Bsc in Management & Economics from Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck and a Bsc in Psychology from the same school.
