Matt White is a visionary researcher, educator, and consultant with over 20 years of experience in transformative technology projects. Currently, Matt serves as the Co-Leader of The GenAI Collective and the CEO & Founder of Berkeley Synthetic, while also holding positions such as Director of Generative AI Commons at the LF AI & Data Foundation and GM of AI at The Linux Foundation. Previously, Matt was the Head of Artificial Intelligence and Data at Amdocs and held senior roles at prominent organizations like IBM, Shaw Communications, and CableLabs. In addition to their professional endeavors, Matt is a Reader in Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley, and co-founded the Open Metaverse Foundation.
