Trevor Bramwell has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Trevor began their career as an Information Technology Department Intern at Pamplin Communications in 2007, where they provided technical support, built and updated computers, and assisted in maintaining the corporate network. In 2013, they interned at Rackspace, where they developed an internal metrics dashboard for the Auto Scale team. This involved pulling data from CassandraSQL and uploading it to an internal Graphite instance. In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Mozilla, where they made significant contributions to the build system of Socorro, reducing build time by half. From 2010 to 2015, they worked at the Oregon State University Open Source Lab, where they worked as a Student Software Developer and Student Systems Engineer. In this role, they co-led the development of Ganeti Web Manager and provided 3rd-tier support for over 160 open source projects. Trevor also acted as a liaison between the development and systems teams for software deployments and continuous integration testing. Since 2015, Bramwell has been a Release Engineer at The Linux Foundation.
Trevor Bramwell began their educational journey at Sam Barlow High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma between 2004 and 2008. Following this, they attended The Center for Advanced Learning from 2006 to 2008, where they focused on Graphic Design. In 2008, they enrolled in the University of Advancing Technology, studying Software Engineering with a focus on Web Architecture and Software Development, until 2009.
Trevor's education continued at Oregon State University from 2009 to 2015. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Computer Science. Additionally, they earned a certification in Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) in April 2015 from The Linux Foundation.
