Katarzyna W. is a seasoned professional in the mental health field, currently serving as a Trauma and Crisis Counselor at Counseling Speaks since April 2015, while also holding a role as a Certified Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance since August 2014. In addition to a private practice in psychotherapy and counseling since January 2012, Katarzyna is an accomplished international keynote speaker, recognized for presentations on topics such as compassion fatigue and multicultural mentoring for women in psychology. As the founder of In Her Shoes Foundation, Katarzyna aims to empower women and girls through community initiatives. Previous roles include part-time faculty at Oakton Community College, adjunct professor at the University of St. Francis, president of the Illinois Association of Multicultural Counseling, and volunteer with the Sheilah A. Doyle Foundation.
