Alex Jarboe

As CEO for Yoga Pod, Alex leads the company’s national and regional development, studio experience strategy, and impact-based initiatives to drive value for both clients and the company. Alex spearheaded and grew the Yoga Pod brand under a franchise model to over 10 locations in 5 different states. Alex alongside two partners, Rachel & Dan, in a pivotal moment turned the franchise network into an active collective, and are laser focused on growing the Yoga Pod brand exclusively under their leadership and ownership. Alex has led the brand through countless crucial achievements, including the creation of a unique systematic approach to the Yoga Pod brand through offerings of podFLOW, podFIT, & podHOT, the launch of two apps, and development of APEX, a complimentary fitness brand. The scientifically backed system, internally known as the philosophy and science of Yoga Pod continues its widespread impact and baseline of intelligent regional and national expansion. In addition, Alex and his partners have created a new, complimentary brand called APEX. A high-intensity, low impact, machine based workout that builds on the fastest growing fitness trend in the country.

Alex, born in DC, raised outside Philly, moved from the east coast to Colorado for a change of pace and to allow nature to be a bigger part of his life. After working in a fast-paced environment for the Secret Service and Lloyds of London, Yoga became an outlet to quiet his mind and provided space to grow. Alex took his 200hr teacher training with Jason Bowman and his 300hr teacher training with Gina Caputo, both in Boulder CO. Alex has completed various continuing education courses and trainings including Hot Yoga training, Prison Yoga Project Training, Trauma Informed Yoga Training and much more. Alex goes back and forth between the Yoga Pod Florida studios (where he teaches) and Colorado.
