Briana Buckles has an extensive work experience. Briana began their career in 2013 as an Advisor at Norwich University, where they advised executive level leadership and created a leadership training curriculum for incoming student leaders. Briana then went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps from 2014 to 2017 in various roles such as Logistics Manager, Executive Officer, and Transportation Manager. In 2018, they worked as a Sustainability Intern at Tillamook County Creamery Association and as General Manager for New Tap Shack Venture at Riff Cold Brewed Coffee. In 2019, they were hired as Senior Sustainability Manager and Supply Chain Risk Analyst at Yogi Tea. In their role as Senior Sustainability Manager, they managed the design and implementation of the company's first global sustainability strategy, coordinated efforts between internal and external partners to conduct sustainability assessments, created and implemented a sustainability internship program, and completed key annual sustainability assessments.
Briana Buckles obtained their Bachelor of Science in Communications from Norwich University in 2013. Briana then obtained their Open Water Diver certification from PADI in May of 2016. In 2017, they began their Master of Business Administration in Sustainability from the University of Oregon's Charles H. Lundquist College of Business, which they completed in 2019.
